Welcome to The October Salon, a fully mobile beauty salon. Bringing pampering to your doorstop, covering Leighton Buzzard and Towcester. My name is Amy and I'm the owner and face of The October Salon. I have worked in the beauty industry since I started working over 12 years ago. Starting in Superdrug and finally working my way to owning my own salon. My main objective with The October Salon is for everyone to feel welcomed and special, we all deserve a little pampering. Currently I am focusing on nails, brows and LVL Lashes, but I hope to be able to expand and offer more and more services in the near future. Brands

I will always research into any brand religiously before adding them to my salon, I need to know how they create products, the ethos behind the brand, and how they are working to ensure we all have a sustainable environment.

I work with Navy Pro Tools because I completely adore the company and Rebecca, they are paving the way for the beauty industry to become more sustainable and help support us to become the best therapists we can be. They are a cruelty-free and vegan brand, creating the most gorgeous prep tools that last and last and last. Therefore eliminating the need to be constantly buying new tools that end up in landfill. They are also huge in backing this women led industry!

I use The Gel Bottle Inc because of the variety of colours, the consistence of the colours and the durability of the gels themselves. It also helps that they a vegan and cruelty-free (I wouldn't use an brand that test's on animals).

I use CJP for my builder gels and I absolutely love them! They are so durable and are completely HEMA-free. They have also created such a fab group of nail techs and I love how much I can get involved with the group, especially if you need some advice.

I use Nouveau and HD Brows for my brow and lash treatments because they are revolutionary brands run by an absolute female Boss, Karen Betts. They are always striving to better their products in line with new technology and ingredients, which is fab because we can always improve products. Their customer service is incredible and they empower women to be their own bosses.

I have recently introduced Elim to my business. It's a medipedi and something I have wanted to introduce for years. I'm so excited to be working with them now, the products smell incredible and your feet will be left feeling refreshed and brand new.

Dermalogica UK is my longest reigning brand that I use, I have been using them since I started in my very first salon and I have stuck with them because I genuinely love the products and the innovation within the company.

All the brands I have named above are women ran and owed. For me, this is so so important and we need to champion women running incredible business.
